Guillem March's talent is to die for! I only wish that the book was bigger. I was not the slightest bit disappointed.

March, a great artist.-

I loved this item and I donated it to my college, Virginia Commonwealth University. I hope artist and fellow students alike will use this item for many years to come.

I was a little disappointed with this book. The back synopsis specifically refers to well-known comic properties like Catwoman, but that isn't really what this book is about. There is a grand total of one Catwoman drawing in the entire book, so promoting this artist's book as some kind of DC Comics extravaganza is very misleading.Most of the art seems to come from advertising projects and European comics that I'm not familiar with, that combined with the art style just isn't my thing.

Guillem March is a rising star currently drawing for DC. He has drawn for Spanish Playboy, several Spanish newspapers and Eros comics. His specialty is, of course, cover girls. The female form is his domain. His drawings are erotic and hot without being dirty. He uses creative "camera angles" and has a style that conveys realism and fantasy without becoming too "airbrushed." These girls in many cases look like they could actually exist. Of course, several of them are pure fantasy, but most of the time he holds back the urge to draw the hypersexualized, cartoonish girls that we see all too often at the comic conventions.This book captures several examples of his drawings that play to his strengths: hot girls from cool angles without cartoonish pneumatic looks. There is no narrative - the book is simply an 84 page collection of his drawings, bot published and unpublished. Most are full color, cover quality, or strips; only a few are pencilled preliminary drawings.

Seriously, the cover is the worst image in the book. I was skeptical about ordering this online until I skimmed through it at the local comic shop. It immediately became a must buy. It's a small book at 80 pages but quality over quantity definitely rules. If you collect art books you won't regret adding this to your collection.
